Join the cast of misfits and mischief for this electrifying heartwarming tale of courage , laughter, dreams and magic! Are you rowdy and refusing to be silenced like Matilda? Do you dance and sing with an unshakable spirit like her band of revolting children? Can you tap into her outrageous parents—or the radical kindness of Miss Honey? Do you secretly want to throw children in the Chokey like Miss Trunchbull? (No judgment.)

MANDATORY CALLBACKS: Thursday, February 26

LOCATION: Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts,15 Vernon St, Hartford, CT 06106 SEEKING: Adults and Teens of all ages | 8 yrs old and up | Male and female

CHORUS: Tenors, Sopranos, Altos, & Bass

IMPORTANT DETAILS

To ensure the success of this production, we require a strong commitment from all participants to rehearsals.

  • Cast Dues: $300

    • This is a participation fee that covers beautiful costumes, show makeup, a show T-Shirt, and daily snacks and meals. Payment plans are available upon request.

  • Limited scholarships available to families in need.

Key Days and Dates:

  • Rehearsals: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays (Starting March 2nd)

    • 5:00PM - 8:00PM

  • Tech Week: May 4th - 13th (MANDATORY)

  • Show Dates: May 14th - 17th
