ActUp Theater, Inc is a performing arts community theater company that explores social justice issues pulled from today’s culture and current events. Through traditional and original works, we infuse social justice themes that give voice to challenges in our community with a relevant perspective.

Participants from all over the region are represented in each of our productions. From many Hartford Public Schools to schools in Canton, Vernon and even Springfield, MA.

We deliberately target the northend’s most destitute area of our city to attend and participate in our productions. We must shine a light on our commuity and enforce quality and high standards many dignitaries and media outlets have recognized.
